Displays about significant people, events and achievements in U.S. civil rights history were among those featured at the Sankofa African-American Museum on Wheels that visited MSU last week. Spanning the 1860s to the present, Sankofa--a word used to describe wisdom of the past to build on the future--was held in the Colvard Student Union ballroom. The Black History Month observance was sponsored by the Richard Holmes Cultural Diversity Center.
