Sunlight peeked through stained glass windows Monday at Mississippi State's Chapel of Memories. The chapel reopened this week after a month of renovations. Upgrades included new paint around doorways, refinishing woodwork and new upholstery on the pews and benches. Bricks used to construct the chapel are from the university's famous Old Main dormitory, which burned in 1959, said to be one of the largest residence halls in the country.
