Senior Mississippi State University mathematics majors Adam Wilkerson (left) and Laura Holland, explore the inside of a sculpture made during a campus honors class titled "Origami: Math Meets Art," taught by Kevin Knudson (right), MSU associate math professor and associate director of Shackouls Honors College. Using 48,000 folded business cards and over 480 hours of labor, but no glue or tape, the 16 students completed assembly of "Level 3 Menger Sponge" yesterday as their final class project.
