Steven Pinker, an internationally recognized teacher, researcher and writer, was a special campus guest this week. The Harvard University psychology professor led the Shackouls Honors College's Conerly Honors Lecture Series Monday, then discussed his work Tuesday with psychology faculty and students. A leader in the field of visual cognition and the psychology of language, he is the author of, among others, "How the Mind Works," a 1994 Pulitzer Prize finalist.
