Abraham Nemeth was a Thursday visitor to the Research and Training Center on Blindness and Low Vision. The blind-since-birth University of Detroit professor emeritus discussed how the Nemeth Braille Code for Mathematics and Science Notation he developed in 1952 is used to solve sophisticated math and science problems. He also help create MathSpeak, an oral math-text communication system.
