Bryce Griffis of Starkville made comments during a Saturday morning ceremony formally opening a new Mississippi State residence hall named in his honor. The four-floor co-residential facility, part of MSU's North Campus, houses the Shackouls Honors College. Griffis served for 16 years on the state College Board and is a longtime member of the MSU Foundation board of directors.
