Mississippi State management and information systems professor Jung P. Shim, an authority on digital multimedia broadcasting, is the winner of the university's 2006 Ralph E. Powe Research Excellence Award. Shim and 27 other MSU faculty, staff and student researchers were honored Thursday [May 4] during the university's annual spring research awards banquet at the Palmeiro Center.
