In Saturday ceremonies, student leader Jeff Ellis made comments preceding groundbreaking for a new outdoor commons area to be known as The Junction. Inspired by students, the campus green space near Davis Wade Stadium will replace the former confluence of streets known informally as Malfunction Junction.
