Fourth-year student Rossi Hepinstall monitored the heartbeat Tuesday of a dachshund receiving a plasma transplant at the Wise Center, home of the College of Veterinary Medicine. Founded in 1974, the CVM provides the only academic program of its kind in Mississippi.
