Freshman Bulldog guard/forward Jamont Gordon ignored a persistent distraction Monday night as he drove the ball down the Humphrey Coliseum court. By game's end, Gordon's 16 points had helped the home team defeat Arkansas State University and register a 2-0 regular-season record. MSU plays its first away game at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when the Maroon-and-White visits the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
