A new invention by engineers at Mississippi State's Diagnostic Instrumentation and Analysis Laboratory--called the Automatic Chain Drag System--will be commercialized by Excelerate Inc. of Huntsville, Ala., as the latest technology to test the structural integrity of bridges and other things made of concrete. Checking it out recently on the MSU campus were (l-r) Chuck Rivenburgh, director of MSU Intellectual Property and Technology Licensing; Dan Costley, a co-inventor of the system formerly known as "HollowDeck;" Mike Doubleday, president of Excelerate; and Colin Scanes, MSU's vice president for research and graduate studies.
