An employee of the MSU-based Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Blindness and Low Vision checked a Braille printout Monday. Now in its 24th year of service to all U.S. states and territories, the center is a cooperative effort between the College of Education and National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research. Recently, the RRTC received three federal grants totalling $1.25 million in support of its continuing study of how blindness and low vision affect employment and careers.
