A nine-person combined team of MSU electrical and computer engineering majors is the first-place winner in a regional robotics design competition sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Team leaders Ashley Hicks and Dhruva Duncan (r) display the MSU entry and the award it received for besting 34 other Southeastern universities. Assistant professor Erdem Topsakal was adviser for the project, which doubled as a senior design class project for the semester. (For more on the award, visit www.ece.msstate.edu.)
