Well-known Carroll County cattle rancher Catherine Williams was hostess Tuesday to a busload of MSU guests on a daylong tour of the Central Mississippi Delta region. Williams welcomed new faculty members and others in the hexagonal library of Cotesworth, a 19th century plantation house built by her great-grandfather J.Z. George, a former U.S. senator and major Mississippi A&M College supporter. George Hall is named in his honor. The new-faculty tour also included visits to Grenada, Leland and Greenwood.
