Sidney L. "Sid" Salter of Forest (c) is the 2004 Mississippi State University Alumnus of the Year. Perspective Editor at the Jackson Clarion-Ledger and a syndicated columnist, the 1988 political science graduate was named in campus ceremonies Friday night.
