Deer research continues at MSU

Among the many Mississippi State research projects is an investigation of factors affecting white-tailed deer growth. Before joining other university employees celebrating the July 4 holiday, graduate student Randy DeYoung (r) and animal care coordinator Steve Tucker of the university’s wildlife and fisheries department spent Wednesday measuring newly born fawns at the Captive Deer Facility near Blackjack Road.
