Crossing the Sun: Keenum, students view rare phenomenon

MSU President Mark E. Keenum experienced the rare phenomenon of the Mercury transit this morning [Nov. 11], alongside physics faculty and students, as the planet passed directly in front of the sun, making it visible through telescopes with solar filters. The last Mercury transit was in 2016 and the next isn’t until 2032.
