STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi State and the University of Mississippi will face off on the gridiron for a good cause next Tuesday [Nov. 13] in the 5th Annual Unified Sports Egg Bowl.

Students from both universities will team up with Special Olympics Mississippi athletes in a flag football game on the MSU campus.

Due to weather concerns, the Unified Sports Egg Bowl has been moved from the RecPlex to the main gym in MSU's Sanderson Center.

Festivities will begin with performances from MSU spirit squads, the Famous Maroon Band and Bully at 6 p.m. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Admission to the game is free.

The Unified Sports Egg Bowl was started in 2014 as a way to build on the excitement surrounding the annual football game between MSU and Ole Miss for a worthy cause. The game has helped raise thousands of dollars for Special Olympics Mississippi.
