STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi State University will host the 30th Annual Insurance Day program April 5-6 at The Mill at MSU Conference Center.
The continuing education program is organized by the MSU College of Business’ Risk Management and Insurance academic concentration. The 2017 Insurance Day program features keynote speaker Robert O’Neill, a former Navy SEAL Team Six member.
Insurance Day attracts hundreds of insurance professionals for sessions that focus on current industry issues. This year, a commissioners’ session will feature Mississippi Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney, along with those from several other states. Other topics covered during Insurance Day will include life, cyber, home, health, flood, property and employment practice insurance, as well as ethics. Attendees may earn up to 12 continuing education credits.

In addition to talks from leading insurance experts, attendees will hear from MSU radio announcer Jim Ellis and athletic director John Cohen. A golf tournament will be held at the new Mossy Oak Golf Club in West Point on April 5, as well as a BBQ reception in Left Field Lounge at the MSU baseball game against Florida International University.
