STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi Public Broadcasting viewers can enjoy musical performances and artist interviews during broadcasts of the Charles H. Templeton Ragtime and Jazz Festival, an annual event presented by Mississippi State University Libraries and the Charles H. Templeton Sr. Music Museum.
The 30-minute television special will air Friday [Feb. 12] at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., and again Sunday [Feb. 14] at 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The broadcasts showcase highlights of four hours’ worth of live performances and interviews with the musicians from the 2015 festival.
The 2016 Charles H. Templeton Ragtime and Jazz Festival will take place March 31-April 2. This year’s sponsors include the Starkville Area Arts Council, the Greater Starkville Development Partnership, the Mississippi Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
