Due to anticipated weather concerns on Thursday morning [March 5], Mississippi Stateâs Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion is postponing the 2015 Women of Color Summitâs opening event, the Birth-12 Mini Summit.
Initially planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Bill R. Foster Ballroom at Colvard Student Union, the mini summit will be rescheduled in the near future. However, all the other Women of Color Summit activities, including the Women of Color Empowerment Dinner on Thursday at 6 p.m. and the all-day summit on Friday [March 6] should be held on schedule and will be canceled only if the university closes.
