The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning will celebrate Black History Month by naming the 2015 Diversity Educator of the Year, honoring university faculty and staff and a community leader on Wednesday [Feb. 18] at 9 a.m. in the IHL Board Room, which is located in the Universities Center at 3825 Ridgewood Road in Jackson.
Honorees from Mississippi State University are Lakiesha N. Williams, associate professor of biomedical engineering, and Leslie Burger, assistant Extension professor in the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Aquaculture.
