In 1994, the Mississippi State Womenâs Club began awarding scholarships to outstanding female masterâs and doctoral graduate students. Awards in the amount of $500 are given to students who demonstrate records of excellence in academics, leadership and service. Scholarships are presented each spring for use in the following summer or fall semester. Female students have been recognized over the years in a wide range of academic disciplines.
Requirements for the scholarship applicants are U.S. citizenship, full-time enrollment in any graduate discipline and a 3.00 overall GPA. The application is available at http://distance.msstate.edu/pdf/MSU_Womens_Club_Scholarship_App_2015.pdf.
Completed applications and supporting documents should be submitted to the MSU Office of Admissions and Scholarships in 101 Montgomery Hall by March 23.
The MSU Womenâs Club Scholarship Committee reviews the applications and makes the final selection.
