November is Diabetes Awareness Month, and the Health Education and Wellness Department at Mississippi State will host a Diabetes Awareness Fair in the Colvard Student Union's Dawg House on Thursday [Nov. 6] from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Anyone who has diabetes or is interested in diabetes and prevention is encouraged to attend.
Resources on diabetes as it relates to nutrition, fitness, alcohol, the flu, as well as general information will be available. Free blood sugar and blood pressure screenings, recipes, and door prizes will be available too.
