As part of the excitement of football game day festivities, Mississippi State University reminds students of some changes that have been implemented to protect the student section from non-students sitting in student seating.
From this point forward, each Mississippi State student will need a valid MSU student ID or student guest ticket to not only enter the game, but also to enter the student section.
Additionally, students should be aware of campus policies in place regarding appropriate student ID usage:
-- It is against campus policy for anyone other than yourself to use your MSU ID card.
-- This card is the property of MSU and in non-transferrable. You cannot let other students or non-students use your ID.
-- Students found allowing others to use their ID card or using a card that is not issued to them will be referred to the Dean of Students office and face disciplinary sanctions including loss of athletic game privileges for the duration of the school year.
-- Non-students found in possession of a student ID will be escorted from the game and the ID taken with the student the card belongs to referred to the Dean of Students office.
Thank you for your help in making the game day experience enjoyable and safe for everyone at Mississippi State.
