The Noyce STEM Teachers Scholars Program seeks to encourage talented science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) majors and professionals to become K-12 mathematics and science teachers.
This program provides funds to support scholarships, stipends and academic programs for undergraduate STEM majors and post-baccalaureate students holding STEM degrees who commit to teaching in high-need K-12 school districts across the United States for two years for every one year that funds are received.
The scholarship amount for an undergraduate student is $10,000, and $15,000 for a STEM professional for the fall 2014 semester.
The application deadline is July 15.
