Thirty-five young women will compete Thursday [March 27] for the title of Miss Maroon and White 2014 at Mississippi State University.
Selections of a winner and four Maroon and White Beauties will take place at a public program beginning at 7 p.m. in historic Lee Hall's Bettersworth Auditorium.
Admission tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the door. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
A successor to annual competition organized for decades by the campus yearbook, The Reveille, the event is now sponsored by the Center for Student Activities at MSU.
