Relay for Life at MSU looking for cancer survivors

Relay for Life organizers at Mississippi State are looking for cancer survivors on campus and in the Golden Triangle community to honor and celebrate.

The annual event will be held on April 4 in the Junction, and there will be a survivor celebration at 6 p.m. Survivors will be treated to a meal, a free t-shirt and goodies before the celebration begins.

The American Cancer Society considers a person a survivor the minute they are diagnosed with cancer. Survivors are encouraged to celebrate as much as possible, so it is wonderful if you are able to participate in the campus relay and your local county relay.

Pre-registration is not required, but it is the only way we can guarantee your meal and t-shirt at the event. Please contact JuLeigh Baker at jbaker@saffairs.msstate.edu to pre-register.
