Undergraduate students at Mississippi State University are invited to enter the MLK Oratorical Contest on Thursday [Jan. 23]. It begins at 10 a.m. in Colvard Student Unionâs Fowlkes Auditorium with an awards presentation taking place at 6 p.m.
The special event will honor the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
The Society for African American Studies, African American Studies program, Alpha Phi Alpha, Sigma Gamma Rho, Holmes Cultural Diversity Center and Office of Diversity and Inclusion are sponsoring the competition.
