'Working with ITAR' seminar today

The Office of Research Security at Mississippi State University is holding a series of "Working with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations)" training sessions this year.

The presentations will be conducted at MSU's High Performance Computing Collaboratory in room 30 on the following dates:

-- Thursday Nov. 21, 2013 from 3-5 p.m.

-- Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014 from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

-- Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 from 1-3 p.m.

-- Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 from 2-4 p.m.

Participants will learn why adhering to ITAR regulations is vital, the principal investigator's responsibilities, the research staff's responsibilities, the significance of ITAR, and much more.
