Works by seven graduating senior art majors are on display through Dec. 7 at two Mississippi State University galleries.
The exhibitions represent a year's worth of research and thesis studies, along with four years of foundational coursework, surveys, art history and academic and emphasis classes.
The Colvard Student Union's second-floor gallery features "LIMBO," the Bachelor of Fine Arts Fine Art Thesis Exhibition, a collection of mixed-media by three fine arts drawing majors.
"Contact.F.13," the BFA Photography Thesis Senior Show, is in the Cullis Wade Depot gallery on the MSU Welcome Center's second floor. This show represents the first stand-alone display of photography students' work since photography became a separate academic concentration in the art department.
The welcome center adjoins the Barnes & Noble at Mississippi State Bookstore.
