On Tuesday [Oct. 15] at 10 a.m., the Department of Health Education and Wellness at Mississippi State University will host an opening ceremony and pumpkin walk to celebrate the completion of the Chadwick Lake track and the designation of Starkville as a "Healthy Hometown" by the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation.
The celebration will take place near the Bryan Athletic Administration Building, and the first 100 walkers will receive a free pumpkin. Refreshments will also be provided.

The Chadwick Lake track is made possible by a grant from the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation.
