The Howell Observatory at Mississippi State University will host "Spooky Stars at Howell" on Wednesday [Oct. 30] from 7-9 p.m.
The campus and local community is invited to look at Mars, the Pleiades cluster and the Andromeda galaxy. Costumes are welcome, and there will be candy.
The observatory is located at MSU's Leveck Animal Research Center, commonly known as South Farm. Follow the signs to the observatory.
