Dr. Ron Scapp, president of the National Association for Ethnic Studies visits Mississippi State on Thursday [Sept. 26], at 11 a.m., in Bowen Hall, Room 160. He will deliver a free, public lecture on "Reclaiming Education: Ethnic Studies and Social Engagement."
Mississippi State is the new home of the national office of the National Association for Ethnic Studies. Housed in Bowen Hall with support from PSPA, the office is managed by Ashley Settles, a Ph.D. student in PSPA.
Scapp's visit is sponsored by the MSU Department of Political Science and Public Administration and the College of Arts and Sciences.
