The Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED) will host a seminar by Dr. Franziska Grieder from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as part of the ORED Seminar Series on Wednesday [Aug. 14], 3 p.m., in Fowlkes Auditorium, Colvard Union.
Grieder will provide information pertaining to NIH funding opportunities, ORIP programs, a bit of grant writing 101, and in general "how to approach and interact with the NIH and secure funding." She is director of the Office of Research Infrastructure Programs (ORIP) in the Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives at NIH.
