STARKVILLE, Miss.--Miss Mississippi State University Jasmine Murray will preview her Miss Mississippi competition wardrobe and talent Tuesday [July 2] during a campus trunk show.
Free and open to all at Colvard Student Union's Fowlkes Auditorium, the 2 p.m. event will be followed with a send-off reception.
Murray will represent the institution July 10-13 at the 2013 Miss Mississippi Pageant in Vicksburg.
A freshman communication major, she is a Starkville resident and the daughter of Lisa Murray and Samuel Murray. She is a 2010 Mississippi School of the Arts graduate.
Her platform is titled "13 Going on 30," and she will be speaking about her work and also performing her vocal talent.
