Marketplace at Perry will be serving it's annual Thanksgiving lunch on Wednesday [Nov. 14]. Traditional roasted turky and baked ham will be served, along with cornbread dressing, and brown and giblet gravy. Sides include green beans almandine, sweet potato casserole, creamed corn, fresh turnip greens, and mac and cheese. Soups will be butternut squash and turkey noodle, with garden and potato salad. Pies being served are sweet potato, pecan, coconut, and chess. And cake lovers can choose from Black Forest and caramel.
