This is National Chemistry Week. The MSU Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society is sponsoring events to help raise funds to attend the National ACS meeting in the spring in New Orleans, La. On Tuesday [Oct. 23], the group is having a "Molecule Toss" from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on the Drill Field. It is a game similar to Bingo, but uses molecules and a periodic table. On Friday [Oct. 26], at approximately 11 a.m., there will be a chemical demonstration show in front of Colvard Student Union. It is free for anyone who wants to stop by and watch.
This is a huge event for the MSU SAACS. The organization is required by the ACS to educate the community about science and chemistry. Anyone wanting more information about MSU SAACS can visit the MSU SAACS webpage by clicking here or visit the facebook page www.facebook.com/MSU.SAACS.
