Forty students from throughout Mississippi, as well as from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas, are members of the 2012-13 Road Runners class at Mississippi State.
Road Runners assist the university's admissions office with new student recruitment. In addition to leading campus tours, they also correspond regularly with prospective students and assist with the operation of various campus events throughout the school year.
Participants are chosen through a rigorous selection process and represent some of the top students at MSU.

AMORY--Walton Chaney, a sophomore economics major and the son of Pat and Susan Chaney.
BRADENTON, Fla.--Katie Knowles, a junior human development and family studies major and the daughter of Dick and Melanie Knowles.
BRANDON--Hannah R. Farris, a junior kinesiology major and the daughter of David and Susan Farris.
CANTON--Shannon K. Sullivan, a sophomore in liberal arts and the daughter of Sam and Suzanne Sullivan.
CANTON, Ga.--Courtney M. Griffin, a junior biochemistry major and the daughter of Tony and Bridget Griffin.
CLEVELAND--MaryBeth A. Cox, a sophomore majoring in liberal arts and the daughter of Kevin and Anita Cox.
COLLIERVILLE, Tenn.--Lauren P. Camp, a sophomore marketing major and the daughter of Bob and Sheila Camp.
