Miss Mississippi State University Stephanie C. Stanford previews her competition wardrobe and talent Thursday [June 21] during a campus trunk show.
Free and open to all at Lee Hall's Bettersworth Auditorium, the 4 p.m. event will be followed with a send-off reception.
Stanford will represent the institution June 27-30 at the 2012 Miss Mississippi Pageant in Vicksburg.
A junior biochemistry/pre-medicine major, she is a Grenada resident, the daughter of Dr. Keith Stanford and Cindy Nobile and a Kirk Academy graduate.
Her platform is titled "Heart of Mississippi," and she will be speaking about the work she has done with this foundation.
"Stephanie is a very smart and talented young woman so you don't want to miss this," said Heidie Lindsey, Miss MSU Scholarship Program director.
