Interested in travel and study abroad, while also receiving college credit? Attend an informational meeting on Travel Study to Russia on Thursday [March 29], at 5:15 pm in McCool Hall, Room 208. The May 2012 travel study entails a combination of cultural, historical, and political aspects of Russia and how these shape the country's current business environment. The trip features visits to Red Square, the GUM store, St Basil's Cathedral, Lenin's tomb, a Russian street market, and visits to several Russian businesses in Moscow. It also includes travel to St. Petersburg and the Winter Palace, and a student exchange with St. Petersburg State University to learn about Russian university life and studies.
The trip is open for credit (3 hours) to MSU undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty, staff, and students who have an interest in Russia, but do not want credit.
