Be a part of MSU's clean energy forum Thursday

MSU's Students for a Sustainable Campus organization is sponsoring a "Clean Energy Forum" on Thursday [Feb. 16], at 5 p.m., in Colvard Student Union's Fowlkes Auditorium. The event, co-sponsored by Focus the Nation, coincides with other such forums all across the U.S.

Focus the Nation, the country's leading clean energy youth empowerment organization has selected MSU as one of 28 campuses leading the country toward clean energy solutions. FTN has been working with university students since the fall of 2011 to increase their energy literacy and identify the challenges and opportunities unique to their communities. Students in FTN's Forums-to-Action (F2A) program are responsible for hosting Clean Energy forums to drive solution-oriented clean energy collaborations between their campuses and communities. The forum will explore possible clean energy projects on campus with the involvement of students, faculty, and the community.

The event is free and open to the public. Pre-event registration is encouraged. For registration and more information, click here. Or visit the Facebook site here.
