The Fifth Annual MSU Department of Communication Scholarship Golf Tournament is set for Friday [Oct. 14]. The tournament will be held at the MSU Institute of Golf (MSU Golf Course). As in previous years, the overall goal in planning this fund-raising event is to earn money for departmental student scholarships.
In addition to raising money, the tournament provides opportunities to reconnect with alumni and other friends. There will be tournament gifts for all players; prizes for winning overall teams; numerous hole competitions; and pre-tournament putting and chipping contests. A lunch will be provided, along with soft drinks and sports drinks throughout the day.
