A groundbreaking ceremony for MSUs third annual Habitat for Humanity project will be held Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. at 70 Murdock St. in Starkville. The housing project is a service learning component of the universitys Maroon Edition First-Year Reading Experience. Join in the celebration as President Mark Keenum drives the first nail to kick off construction of this years Maroon Edition home.
Also, donations of gently used MSU t-shirts will be accepted and will be used to create an MSU quilt for each family living in Maroon Edition Habitat for Humanity homes.
