Now through April 29, the MSU Student Association is collecting donations for an upcoming "Dawghouse Deals" garage sale. Unwanted items from students living in on-campus residence halls and houses on Fraternity and Sorority Row are encouraged to donate unwanted furniture, clothing, non-perishable food items, and anything else that could be useful to others.
Collection sites at six locations near residence halls and Greek houses around campus have been designated as Dawghouse Deals drop-off points. Those wanting to contribute items will find white Go Boxes labeled as Dawghouse Deals storage space and can leave donated goods in the marked locations.
The Dawghouse Deals sale will be May 7 under the west concourse of Davis Wade Stadium. The SA welcomes any visitors on campus or in local communities to come shop from 7 a.m-2 p.m. Though the exact quantity and nature of the goods being sold will depend on the donations collected by students, the SA expects a high inventory of valuable items. Item prices will be non-negotiable, and exact change is preferred.
All proceeds will benefit the MSU Foundation's Harold Hall Fund, which provides grants to students who find themselves in need of assistance due to specific family situations or natural catastrophes.
