The President's Commission on the Status of Women, in conjunction with the MSU Police Department, is hosting a Self Defense Course March 7, from 6-8 p.m. in the Palmeiro Center. This self defense education will focus on awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and risk avoidance, as well as teach basic self defense techniques. The course, taught by Virginia Rich of the MSU Police Department, is FREE and open to university and community participants of all ages and abilities. Please remember to wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing.
