MEDIA ADVISORY: Keenum, MSU to host SEC Academic Leadership workshop

Mississippi State President Mark E. Keenum will join other university administrators and professors from around the Southeastern Conference in presentations at the Southeastern Conference Academic Consortium's Academic Leadership Development workshop.

To be hosted on campus this week, the program's events begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday [ Feb. 9], and run through Friday [Feb 11]. Though closed to the general public, sessions are open to the news media.

Joining Keenum in making presentations are several MSU faculty and administrators, including Jerry Gilbert, provost and executive vice president. Christine Curtis, senior vice provost of the University of South Carolina, and Heidi Milia Anderson, associate provost for faculty affairs at the University of Kentucky, are also on the agenda.

Keenum will make a presentation on leadership Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Hunter Henry Alumni Center.
