Deadline nears for Noyce Teacher Scholarships

March 1 is the application deadline for Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarships.

The program in the College of Education encourages talented science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors to become K-12 mathematics and science teachers.

Through the scholarships, higher education institutions receive funds to support scholarships, stipends and academic programs for undergraduate STEM majors and post-baccalaurate students holding STEM degrees who commit to teaching in high-need K-12 school districts.

At MSU, the scholarships and stipends are awarded through the Noyce STEM Teachers Scholars Program. For more information, see http://www.noyce.msstate.edu/.
