Abstracts are now being accepted thru January 31, 2011 for the third Southeastern Natural Resources Graduate Student Symposium, hosted by the College of Forest Resources at Mississippi State University. This symposium is intended for students conducting research in southeastern ecosystems who are interested in communicating results, gaining speaking experience, participating in professional development activities, and expanding their professional network with peers and potential employers in the Southeast. Symposium elements will include student presentations, opportunities to meet with industry and agency employers, professional development workshops, and a closing social. Both oral and poster presentations are welcomed by graduate and senior level undergraduate student researchers.
