STARKVILLE, Miss.--The G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery Center for America's Veterans at Mississippi State University is sponsoring Saturday [Aug. 21] a mobile health clinic to provide limited health care services and Department of Veterans Affairs enrollment information.

Representatives from the VA will be available from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m. on the Colvard Student Union's second floor to assist veterans with a variety of services, including eligibility, registration, lab work, physical exams, and enrollment in the e--health website MyHealtheVet.

"We have many students on campus who are eligible for benefits and who may not have registered with the VA yet," veterans recruiting coordinator David Blair said. "It is vital for the VA to maintain a record of veterans, and this clinic will help start the process. It will also introduce veterans and service members to the many benefits available through the Department of Veterans Affairs."

Blair said participants should check in at the Old Main room, and then will be directed to the appropriate stations.
